State Police say a Dunbar man allegedly under the influence of alcohol struck his wife with his vehicle after she tried to keep him from driving, then assaulted a trooper and threatened to kill him
Trooper MJ Napier was dispatched Monday night to a domestic- related hit-and-run on Fairlawn Avenue, just outside Dunbar
Rebecca Cox, 58, of Fairlawn Avenue told the trooper she stood in front of the vehicle, trying to stop her husband, Denny Cox, 76 But her husband accelerated and struck her, according to a complaint filed in Kanawha Magistrate Court
